Face Thread Lift is a way to lift and rejuvenate sagging skin. A layer of topical numbing cream is first applied to the skin. This is followed by tiny injections of local anesthesia to further numb the skin to make the procedure more comfortable. As each individual’s face ages differently, Dr Uzma will create a face thread lift design especially suited for you in order to obtain optimal lifting results. The number of threads needed for the face thread lift depends on the areas that require treatment and the extent of sagging. Most may require between 2 to 6 threads per side for the face thread lift. These specialized threads are actually barbed sutures that quickly attach themselves to skin tissue to pull back skin and reduce facial wrinkling and sagging. Face thread lifts are minimally invasive and are associated with little or sometimes even zero downtime. The face thread lift procedure takes approximately 30-45mins to complete. Results are almost immediately noticeable.
Thread face lift will not duplicate the results from a surgical face lift, it is still a viable alternative for patients who are not keen on surgery due to the downtime or surgical risks involved.
