Cellulite is a term used to describe the dimpled appearance of skin caused by fat deposits that are just below the surface of the skin. It generally appears on skin at the hips, thighs, and pelvic region. More commonly found in women than men due to genetic and hormonal reasons. Lack of exercise and poor diet (fatty food and little drinking) may increase the risk of getting cellulite. Smoking makes it worse.
