Botulinum toxin is a protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
Botulinum toxin is predominantly used as a treatment
to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and fine lines
Beyond aesthetic applications, Botox is used to treat a variety of medical conditions, including, excess sweating, eye squints, migraines and leaky bladders.
Upper face
Botox relaxes muscle of expressions are effective in reducing the wrinkles formed due to our expressions such as, frown lines, crows feet(smile lines around eyes), lines on the forehead, bunny lines on the nose.
There are two types of wrinkles.
Dynamic wrinkles form when we move certain muscle groups, such as when we smile or frown. They are usually not present when our muscles are relaxed and have no expression. Botox works only on dynamic lines.
Static wrinkles are permanent fine lines that develop in the skin, usually within areas of active dynamic wrinkles. Botox does not respond to static lines.
A miniscule amount of the botox is injected directly into the muscle, causing it to relax and erase dynamic wrinkles. Depending on the area to be treated, a series of tiny injections into the active muscle is usually required. Side effects, if they occur, include needle marks and bruising that go away quickly over a few days. The effect is expected to last between 3-6 months on average.
Nefertiti and neck bands
The vertical muscles that run from the base of your neck to your jaw, known as the platysma bands, continuously pull down on your lower face. Eventually, this leads to drooping skin and a loss of jawline definition. A Nefertiti Lift can prevent these muscles from pulling down, and return a contoured appearance to your jawline.
The Nefertiti Lift technique consists of a series of botox
injections carefully and precisely administered in two areas:
along the lower jaw
line
into the neck area muscles
into the neck bands
Nefertiti Lift can be expected to last around 3-6 months depending on the patient. However, treatment can then be repeated in order to maintain the effect.

Improved appearance of prominent neck bands

Masseter Treatment (Jaw Reduction)
Bulky or square jaws can be due to the over development or hypertrophy of masseter muscle of face, Bone structure or Both.
Square jaws due to bone structure, on the other hand, usually require invasive surgery which is associated with significant downtime.
Mostly bulky jaws are usually caused by bulky masseters.
Bulky masseter muscles can easily be reduced through simple injections into the muscles. The procedure is quick and involves 2-5 tiny injection per masseter muscle.
Jaw reduction injections makes the muscles smaller and leaves a smoother and slimmer jawline.
Besides its typical use for facial contouring, it can help to relax the jaw muscles and is used as a treatment for those who clench or grind their teeth while sleeping.
This is a quick lunchtime procedure that typically has little or no downtime at all.
